Thanks for checking out Vint Mint — and if you made a purchase, thank you for supporting local retail sustainability and keeping your dollars circulating in Philly. That’s far better than fueling shiploads of Chinese fast fashion from Shein, Zara, and Fashion Nova.
I’m a luxury brand creative director (and former fashion photographer and stylist) with a lifelong love of beautifully made vintage clothing, natural fabrics, and fine tailoring. Tailoring runs in my blood — I’ve traced family tailors back to 17th-century Scotland and 19th-century Italy and Newark, NJ. Two 20th-century style icons are even distant cousins.
Vint Mint grew out of my own collecting habit — finding great pieces I couldn’t justify keeping but couldn’t leave behind. Every item is chosen for its quality, character, and timeless appeal — mostly American or European garments made from wool, cashmere, silk, linen, and fine leather.
I even appreciate vintage fur and leather for their sustainability — no new animals harmed, and plenty of old-world style saved.
While I lean toward preppy classics and chic elegance, you’ll also find the occasional eccentric gem — because every vintage rack deserves a surprise.
If Vint Mint inspires one Philly man to trade his oversized Eagles jersey for a tailored wool jacket, and one woman to swap her polyester leggings for a silk blouse and cashmere sweater — it will have been a life well lived.
